Just months after dismissing his top legislative aide in 2015 for multiple allegations of sexual harassment, Rep. Rick Nolan hired the aide to work on his 2016 re-election campaign.

Three former women employees for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor congressman told MinnPost, which originally reported this story, that Nolan’s legislative director, Jim Swiderski, repeatedly harassed — and in some cases groped — them in the early- and mid-2010s.

Rep. Jim Jordan met Monday with investigators who are probing allegations of rampant sexual abuse of former Ohio State University athletes by former athletics department doctor Richard Strauss, his office confirmed.

Before the Ohio Republican and founder of the conservative House Freedom Caucus entered politics he was an assistant wrestling coach at OSU from 1986 to 1994.

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan was named in a new class-action lawsuit regarding allegations of sexual abuse at Ohio State University.

The Republican congressman, who was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State from 1986 to 1994, is one of three former school officials named in the lawsuit, Rolling Stone reported, including former team physician Richard Strauss, who has been accused of sexually abusing male athletes over two decades. He died in 2005.

Even as lawmakers and staff work to reconcile legislation passed by the House and Senate to curb sexual harassment on Capitol Hill, a timeline for enacting the bills is unclear, months after they were fast-tracked for floor votes.

“We’re confident we are going to get there at some point. We’re not quite there,” House Administration Chairman Gregg Harper of Mississippi said.

A fourth former wrestler from Ohio State University is accusing Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of knowing about sexual abuse when he was an assistant wrestling coach there.

Shawn Dailey told NBC News he was groped several times by the team physician Dr. Richard Strauss. While Dailey said he did not directly report the abuse to Jordan, he said Strauss’ abuse was mentioned several times in locker room conversations that Jordan was involved in.
